I posted a comment on the Prossie's blog. I asked Juan Uys to come out and be a man and do the right thing. I told him that I understand it breaks his elderly mother's hart to hear these stories about him all the time. I even showed him private information about him like his date of birth to show him people know who he is and it will come out.
He failed to past my comment. I made a screenprint as proof that I did in fact post on his website
He was known to delete posts on the Crimexpo website as well

He used to live in Sea Point and is very well known in the Cape gay community. They are protecting him.
Who is protecting him? I know openly gay people who want to kick his head in. Why remain anonymous like Juan Uys making homophobic statements like that?
Congratulations on establishing this space - let's hope it leads to Juan Uys being found, exposed and made to account for his malicious activities over the past years. He has caused harm to countless individuals, groups, businesses, communities (especially the lesbian and gay community) and claimed to have placed the national blood-donating system in jeopardy. Juan Uys is clearly a menace to society.
The claim that the gay community of Cape Town is ‘protecting’ him is absolutely ludicrous.

Quite frankly, I really dont know why anyone gives this retard the time of day - why waste your time.
He is (although tediously slowly) burying himelf through the ludicrous statements he makes. Even the main publications now know to steer well clear of him.

I am sitting here in London surfing You Tube when I come upon this face and article about CESA. His name and face immediately rung a bell. Juan Uys moved to Cape Town during (I think) 2002 when he rented a room with me and a friend in Milnerton for about 1 - 2 months. I soon realised he was a very scaly person. When he moved out he damaged the carpets and walls which forced my friend, who owned the flat, to keep his deposit. We had a confrontation at her flat with Uys where he threatened both of us. After that all the harassment started. Never ending phone calls (every second for hours) to both of us at all times of day and night. Even to her family. After we went to the police and changing our numbers did things stop. I hope he gets what he deserves because he has made peoples lives HELL. Juan Uys is a very sick and deluded person who should rot in hell. Doos!
Whoever has started this blog must either be monumentally stupid or totally naive. Everybody and the media has gone beserk and overboard about this Uys character.
Before I burst a vein in my head out of sheer frustration with this entire case let me vent my opinions here:
NO judge or court on this planet will find a person or parties guilty or responsible for slander or crimen injura for something published on the internet. The internet is unique in the sense that it is a PUBLIC medium, and not like traditional paid-for media. It is almost as if the parties involved in this case has never surfed the internet before! Have they never seen the crap out there?
The law explicitly excludes this medium from these legal structures. The only exception is child pornography.
We may all hold an opinion about the infamous sex blog or southafricaexposed blog - but Uys has full right to publish on a blog WHATEVER he wishes to! That is the point of especially blogs.
The real guilty parties here are:
The sensationalist media who gave this blog perceived credibility in the first place. Without them, this would've been just another crazy satire blog out there.
Another party is "AIN" who everybody confuses with National Intelligence. It turns out AIN is nothing but a private investigation firm, run by ex-cops, oblivious to any legal knowledge or the rights of privacy of individuals. They happily take money from private clients to embark on massive cloak-and-dagger operations for a case they should know cannot be prosecuted.
Indeed - "a storm in a teacup". There is a bigger issue involved here - I do not support this individual or his actions, but instead of Uys looking like a villian, to me, the only thing that this whole debacle has exposed is the sheer ignorance and stupidity of all parties involved.
Juan Uys...well there is a blast form the past. I managed 2 of his brothels in 1995 - 1997. He had a branch in Fearie Glen PTA and another in Greenside east in JHB.He was known as 'Jason' at that point.
He is a slippery character that messed up the lives of countless young gay and straight boys.
I am a fortunate gay man who managed to stand up in life after Juan Duval uys destroyed my career. I was headhunted by a company in Cape Town, the highpoint off my career in 99. Guess what, I came to CPT and met Juan Duval Uys over the web! He set up a series of meetings that never happened! I had to meet him SEVERAL times at the airport, he never appeared. Eventually, after a lot of cost on my cellphone, I made the huge mistake of sending him a warning from my work email. Well, he e-mailed immediately the Interantional Manager and attached to my shame a lot of photos of myself etc, made in the innocence of falling in love with someone you thought special.. How stupid of me and I got fired and it took me about three years to get my career back on that level: Today I earn almost ten times the amount back then and I have also grown as a person. BUT! I did actually see him once in the HotHouse in Cape Town, where his name was whispered in the corridors, I must be honest, it was the one time I considered meeting him in a cubicle with a broken bottle of sorts. But fortunately I was stronger than that!
